Structured
Memory Retrieval
CueKeep is not a generic chatbot. It is a specialized memory retrieval system designed to ground patients in their past, their family, and their positive biographical context.
Biographical Mapping
Caregivers map the specific relationships, past occupations, and favorite memories of the patient. When the patient asks a question, this map is prioritized over generic knowledge.
Past-Oriented Redirection
If a patient becomes distressed about an impossible current event (e.g., "I need to pick up the kids from school"), the system gracefully pivots to connected past-oriented facts ("Tell me about what they were like in high school").
No Frustration Loops
The system never issues hard corrections ("Your kids are grown now"). It focuses on validating the emotion behind the question and guiding the conversation to safe, pleasant biographical shores.
The Architecture
How Confusion is Handled Gracefully
The Patient Trigger
The patient asks about an old friend who has passed away, expressing a desire to call them on the phone.
Biographical Fact Match
The engine cross-references the caregiver's memory graph. It identifies the friend, their relationship, and their deceased status.
Therapeutic Response Generation
Instead of delivering the traumatic news that the friend has passed (which would cause a fresh grieving cycle), the system replies: "John was such a wonderful friend. Didn't you two build that wooden boat together in the 80s? Tell me about that."
